Will Vanna, the noble wife of the commander of Pisa, save her city by meeting the demand of the leader of a besieging army to spend one night with him—naked under a cape? Experience Maeterlinck’s rarely performed romantic drama, which Ayn Rand called: “One of the greatest in all world literature.” Ann Ciccolella will stage a new full-length adaptation of the play.
