This lecture focuses on romantic love. It addresses the issue of: the nature of egoistic love in contrast to so-called selfless love: the role of conscious and subconscious evaluations in love relationships; including the connection between love and sense of life; factors determining compatibility in love relationships; why people grow together and grow apart; the actions required to sustain and grow a love relationship; and the proper attitude of one romantic partner toward the other. The talk concludes with a reading of romantic poetry.
