Edwin A. Locke

Presented at: ARI Roundtable

Date: Nov 20, 2021

A prolific scholar, speaker and author, Dr. Edwin A. Locke is renowned in the field of psychology. His work is widely cited not only within academia but also well beyond. And in the face of an academic climate unwelcoming of Ayn Rand’s ideas, he has been a champion of her philosophy of reason, a philosophy that has in numerous ways helped fuel his successful career.

Join me today for a fireside chat with Dr. Locke as we explore how Objectivism has impacted his life and career trajectory.

A longtime friend of the Ayn Rand Institute, Dr. Locke is Dean’s Professor (Emeritus) of Leadership and Motivation at the R.H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park, and the author of 13 books and more than 335 chapters, essays and professional articles.
