Privacy helps us to produce and enjoy the values we need to sustain our lives. And yet enjoying the best that our highly specialized, technologically advanced world has to offer requires that we share at least some information with others on a daily basis. This talk explains the legal doctrine that, in today’s context, makes privacy effectively illegal and suggests what we can do about it.
