Making Decisions in Context

John Dennis

Presented at: OCON 2015

Date: Jul 03, 2015

Rational decision making requires keeping one's focus on the facts while holding context. This talk discusses rational decision making and includes relevant findings from psychology, behavioral economics and decisions sciences--”from the perspective of Objectivism. In the process, we will understand how to avoid "overloading the crow"; deal with risk, uncertainty and ambiguity; deal with cognitive biases and integrate the short term with the long term.
