This seminar will explain the nature of defense values and defense mechanisms, their role in maintaining a pseudo-self-esteem, and their destructive effects on self-esteem, and will recommend ways of eliminating them. In the course, various participants will play the role of patients, in order to demonstrate how defense values and defense mechanisms are manifested in a person's behavior.
