The Epistemology of Altruism

Peter Schwartz

Presented at: OCON 2005

Date: Jul 02, 2005

This talk discusses how altruism is at root a product of mysticism. Mr. Schwartz explains why the demand for self-sacrifice does not merely lead to, but essentially consists of, the surrender of reason. He examines how altruism is a systematic assault on the Law of Identity, and how it gains widespread acceptance only by distorting, rather than defending, its true nature.
