The Foundations of Mathematics
Date:
Jun 27, 1993
This course develops the hierarchy of concepts, principles, and methods that give rise to the science of mathematics. In so doing, it shows how fundamental errors in philosophy underlie key errors throughout the history of mathematics. No mathematical background is needed, but a basic understanding of the Objectivist theory of concepts is assumed.
An earlier version of this material was presented to an Objcctivist audience in 1992.
