With Objectivism gaining prominence globally, there is increasing interest in translating the fiction and nonfiction works of Ayn Rand into different languages. Such projects are inspiring, yet they also entail important challenges, which are often common among different countries. In the next meetup of ARI Europe, we will attempt to provide the entire spectrum of what is included in translating Rand into another language: from acquiring the rights to her work to finding a publisher, and from editing the translation to making the whole project profitable.
