This lecture presents the Law of Association, which when applied to international trade is known as the Law of Comparative Advantage, as a major foundation of the mutual gains inherent in free exchanges, a major coordinating principle of the economic activities of individuals in a free market, and a principal basis for opposing government interference in the economic system.
