Dr. Baer specializes in the area of ethics and has taught philosophy at the University of California, Irvine, at California State University, Long Beach, and at Concordia College (NY). He spent the fall of 2005 as an Anthem Foundation fellow at the University of Texas at Austin. In the 2006–2007 academic year, he will be Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
