Tasos Papaioannou lives in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he works for Red Hat, Inc. He studied physics and mathematics at Northwestern University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, before earning his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of California, Berkeley in 2008. Besides physics, his interests include playing guitar, philosophy, and playing tickle monster with his 1-year-old daughter.
