María Marty is founder and president of the Ayn Rand Center Latin America. She has been the Executive Director of the Foundation for Intellectual Responsibility and Communication Director of the Junior Achievement Argentina Foundation. She is a columnist for the PanAm Post digital media and collaborates with articles for Cato.org, The Independent Institute, Xoan de Lugo and Objetivimo.org. She has been a columnist for radio programs and a finalist and winner of essays about freedom. She is a graduate of the Objectivist Academic Center philosophy program of the Ayn Rand Institute and coordinator of the Objectivist Club of Buenos Aires.

María Marty has a degree in Social Communication from the Universidad del Salvador.
