How the OAC Can Help You Become a New Intellectual
Date:
Mar 15, 2021
In "For the New Intellectual," Ayn Rand argues that the ideas of philosophers, championed by a culture’s intellectuals, set the agenda for a society, shaping events and ultimately the course of history. To change the world in a deep and enduring way, she argues, requires new philosophical ideas advanced by a new kind of cultural leader: the New Intellectual.
In this event, you'll learn how ARI's premier intellectual training program, the Objectivist Academic Center, is essential to creating the New Intellectuals of tomorrow. Objectivist experts from ARI--who are also OAC faculty--will discuss the career paths available to those aspiring to make a living spreading rational ideas in the world, and will show how the OAC is invaluable to pursuing such a career.
Substantial time will be dedicated to Q&A, so come with your questions.
This webinar is intended as a follow-up to the March 6 Ayn Rand Conference, "How You Can Put a Dent in the Universe," but will be useful to those considering an intellectual career whether or not you attended that event.
